VIVA Cruises has formally christened VIVA BEYOND, the inaugural vessel in the company’s new premium VIVA Boutique collection, during a ceremony held in Paris.

The naming ceremony was conducted by Norwegian travel industry executive Cecilie Kopperud, who served as godmother to the vessel, while Danish journalist Annamette Fuhrmann presided over the event.

VIVA BEYOND operates itineraries through northern France aboard a vessel measuring 360 feet in length and accommodating up to 112 guests in 56 cabins. Half of the accommodations are suites, with the largest extending to 323 square feet. The ship carries three dining venues, including MOMENTS, where menus have been developed in collaboration between Michelin-starred chef David Görne and the culinary team of VIVA Cruises. Additional facilities include a fitness room, wellness and massage areas, and an open sun deck.

Entertainment aboard the vessel includes the “Paris Pétille” cabaret production, live jazz performances in the Panorama Lounge, and a programme of classical concerts.

The company indicated that a second vessel, VIVA UNIQUE, is scheduled to join the VIVA Boutique fleet in 2027 and will operate on Italy’s Po River.

VIVA Cruises’ leadership stated that the introduction of VIVA BEYOND represented a significant step in the company’s development and marked the beginning of a new phase for the recently established cruise brand.
