Regent Seven Seas Cruises has unveiled additional details of the outdoor amenities aboard Seven Seas Prestige, revealing a new Solara Sports Deck alongside a redesigned Solara Pool Deck ahead of the vessel’s scheduled entry into service in December 2026. The developments form part of the line’s first new ship class in a decade and are intended to expand the vessel’s outdoor recreation, wellness and leisure facilities.

Located on Deck 14, the Solara Sports Deck has been designed in partnership with SMC Architects and will become the first dedicated and purpose-built sports deck in the Regent fleet. The facility will feature a full-size padel and pickleball court, an 18-hole putting green, dedicated spaces for sunrise and sunset yoga sessions, and the line’s first digital gaming installation using Conductr Supercharged Shuffleboard technology. Rather than conventional sports netting, the courts will be framed with timber-effect architectural elements, integrated landscaping and relaxation areas to complement the ship’s overall design. Custom LED lighting will allow the venue to remain in operation after dark, while an aft pavilion will provide additional activities including digital shuffleboard, mini bowling, chess, table tennis and baggo. Organised tournaments and scheduled wellness sessions will be offered from the ship’s maiden voyage, and the venue will remain accessible around the clock.

According to Regent Seven Seas Cruises President Wesley D’Silva, the new sports deck reflects the company’s intention to combine active wellness with refined leisure, creating an outdoor environment that integrates recreation with the vessel’s luxury design. SMC Design also indicated that the project had been conceived to blend outdoor fitness facilities with the atmosphere of a boutique luxury hotel through the use of premium materials, architectural detailing and discreet lighting.

Complementing the sports facilities, the Solara Pool Deck on Deck 12 will centre on a 48-by-29-foot swimming pool flanked by two whirlpool spas. A 2-tier arrangement of sun loungers, inspired by Regent’s Explorer-class vessels, has been incorporated to maximise deck space while increasing seating capacity. Adjacent to the pool will be the Solara Pool Grill, featuring an artisanal pizzeria and casual dining options, together with the Solara Pool Bar, where beverages will be included within the line’s all-inclusive programme. The upper pool deck will also provide direct access to the Pacific Rim specialty restaurant and the new Mediterranean dining venue, Azure.

At ~77,000 gross tons, Seven Seas Prestige will be around 40% larger than Regent’s existing vessels while accommodating 822 guests in 411 all-balcony suites served by 630 crew members. The ship will feature 11 dining venues and is scheduled to enter service on December 13th, 2026, with an inaugural 14-night transatlantic voyage from Barcelona to Miami before commencing Caribbean, Panama Canal and European itineraries.
