RSSC-Regent Seven Seas Cruises is expanding its collaboration with Motorsport Lab with 4 pre- and post-cruise programmes linked to 7 European voyages in 2027. The experiences will give guests access to Ferrari, Lamborghini and Porsche vehicles, together with automotive and cultural programmes in Barcelona, England’s Goodwood Estate and Italy’s Motor Valley.
The collection, curated and operated by Motorsport Lab, comprises two Motorsport Magic experiences in Barcelona, the House of Motorsports programme at Goodwood and Italy’s Supercar Escape in Bologna and the surrounding Motor Valley.
The programmes build on previous Motorsport Lab experiences offered to Regent guests. In 2025, these included supercar driving and private automotive access in Barcelona, driving experiences on the Monaco Grand Prix street circuit and programmes in Italy’s Motor Valley featuring Ferrari and Lamborghini, combined with destination-focused dining.
Motorsport Magic: Exotic Supercar Edition will take place in Barcelona from July 29th to August 1st, 2027, as a post-cruise programme following the July 19th Moonlight Over the Mediterranean voyage aboard Seven Seas Grandeur. Guests will drive modern supercars, including Ferrari and Lamborghini models, on selected roads associated with Barcelona’s historic racing circuit. The programme also includes a private aerial experience and access to a collection of supercars, racing cars, motorcycles, classic vehicles and other exotics. The itinerary combines the automotive activities with visits to Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter, Catalan cuisine and regional wine, as well as a live flamenco performance.
The Motorsport Magic: Classic Porsche Edition is scheduled for July 26–29, 2027, as a pre-cruise programme linked to the July 29th Eclipse the Ordinary sailing aboard Seven Seas Grandeur. Guests will drive classic Porsche models on roads through Catalonia’s interior and along the coast, visit the historic Terramar racetrack and explore Sitges. The programme also includes private access to a motorsport collection, alongside cultural and culinary experiences in Barcelona.
House of Motorsports at Goodwood will be available from August 18–21 or August 21–24, 2027, either before or after the relevant cruise. The programme focuses on the motorsport heritage of the Goodwood Estate and includes performance hot laps at Goodwood Motor Circuit, off-road and specialist driving activities, golf and professional instruction, clay shooting, English tea and an art tour. The experience is available in connection with the August 3rd Land of the Vikings sailing or the August 21st Gourmet & Glamour voyage, both aboard Seven Seas Voyager.
Italy’s Supercar Escape will operate in three departures from August 4–7, August 7–10 and August 12–15, 2027. The post-cruise programme covers Bologna, Modena and Maranello and focuses on Ferrari, Lamborghini and Pagani through automotive museums and other experiences in Italy’s Motor Valley. Guests will have the opportunity to drive a Ferrari on roads around Maranello and visit Bologna and Modena, with the programme also including a meal at Cavallino, Ferrari’s historic restaurant reinterpreted by chef Massimo Bottura.
The Italian programme will be available following the July 29th Eclipse the Ordinary sailing aboard Seven Seas Grandeur, the August 5th History & Heritage voyage aboard Seven Seas Prestige and the August 7th Culinary Wonders sailing aboard Seven Seas Grandeur.
Regent Seven Seas Cruises President Wesley D’Silva said the expanded collaboration was intended to provide guests with access to local interests and specialist experiences beyond conventional sightseeing. The company said the programmes are designed to combine automotive activities with cultural and culinary experiences associated with each destination.
