Review of Seven Seas Prestige

The 2026-built Seven Seas Prestige cruise ship is the newest of RSSC-Regent's PRESTIGE-class series, with sistership Seven Seas Prestige II (2029 July). The ship is currently planned for delivery and inauguration in 2026 December.

The vessel (IMO number 1036238) will be France-flagged (MMSI tba) and registered in Majuro/Marshall Islands.

History - construction and ownership

Regent Cruises (officially Regent Seven Seas Cruises / RSSC) is an all-inclusive, top-luxury cruise brand fka "Radisson Seven Seas". Until 2014, the company (as part of "Prestige Cruise Holdings") was owned by Apollo Management LP - one of the world's largest private investment equity funds. Since September 2014, RSSC and the sister company Oceania Cruises are owned by NCL Norwegian (shipowner), acquired at the total cost of USD 3 billion.

Regent cruise ships are medium-sized, with max passenger capacity 800. The fleet consists of 6-star rated all-suite and all-balcony vessels with a space-to-guest ratio ~70 and staff-to-guest ratio 1-to-1,6 (some of the industry's best). As building cost per berth, RSSC liners are among the world's most expensive ships.

For the vessel's interior design was developed by the Florida-based firm "Studio DADO". The DADO-designed venues include Starlight Atrium, Observation Lounge, Constellation Theater, Card Room, Connoisseur Club, Pacific Rim Restaurant, and the wellness/Spa complex.

Decks and Cabins

Like all RSSC-Regent ships, Seven Seas Prestige staterooms (total 411) are all suites (having private step-out balconies) and will include new for Regent cabin categories.

The company's most luxurious accommodation - the Regent Suite, on Seven Seas Prestige will be redesigned and enlarged, to become the fleet's largest stateroom.

The other suite categories include Signature Suites, Grand Suites, Prestige Suites, Seven Seas Suites, Penthouse Suites, Concierge Suites, Serenity Suites, and Deluxe Veranda Suites.

The ship also introduces several new cabin categories. These are Skyview Suites (2-level duplex appartments with private rooftop terraces/fleet's largest), Grand Loft Suites (2-level duplex suites with floor-to-ceiling windows) and Horizon Penthouse Suites (with oversized balconies). The new categories of accommodations (designed by Studio DADO) showcase exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail.

The boat has 14 decks, of which 12 are passenger-accessible and 8 have cabins.

Seven Seas Prestige's cruises include unlimited shore excursions, gourmet dining (specialty and alfresco venues), premium beverages, Wi-Fi Internet, valet laundry service, onboard gratuities, and (for select cabin categories) a pre-cruise hotel package.

Shipboard facilities and amenities (ship review)

Among the ship's signature (fleet's first) and primary spaces are the Starlight Atrium and Galileo’s Bar, both drawing aesthetic inspiration from classical and Renaissance architectural elements and blending traditional motifs with contemporary styling.
