Quebec City announced its first ever Cruise Month. It will kick off on September 16, 2017 and run through October 16.

The cruising community and Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) come together each fall to celebrate cruising via Cruise Month events all around the world.

Quebec’s Cruise Month will celebrate the booming cruise industry in the region. Port of Quebec boasts a record-breaking year with a huge increase in passengers.

The port of Quebec forecasts a nearly 30% increase over 2016 season, that could bring the port to an all-time record of 200,000 visitors.

Various events are planned to showcase local arts, culture and businesses of the city. During this time, 5 ships will make maiden visits to Quebec: Norwegian Jade, Ponant Le Soleal, Silver Muse, Viking Sea and Viking Sky.

The celebration will allow cruisers the chance to discover brand new experiences. The districts will provide a wealth of cultural activities, including Festival de Cinema de la Ville de Quebec, Night of the Gallery, Limoilou en Famille and Passages Insolites.
