MS Adriana Evacuates US Medical Students from Dominica

Cruise ship ADRIANA (IMO 7118404) sailing from Trinidad in the Southern Caribbean, evacuates US medical students from Dominica after the devastation by Hurricane Maria.

The vessel made a speedy departure out of Port-of-Spain on Friday, September 22, to commence evacuating a few hundred students from Dominica, according to Adriana Cruises.

The US students and their luggage were taken to ms Adriana via tenders. Humanitarian supplies were delivered to the island, as well.

On the first trip from Dominica, a total of 350 students were transported to St Lucia, where flights to the United States were organized. The first students were repatriated on Sunday, September 24.
