Three Fred Olsen Cruise Ships Undergo Multi-Million Refits

Three of the Fred Olsen cruise ships will undergo multi-million drydock refurbishments this winter to prepare for the start of 2018-2019 cruise season.

Two of the vessels, Balmoral and Braemar, will be refit before Christmas (starting December 10 and November 23, respectively, at Blohm+Voss shipyard in Hamburg, Germany) with the 3rd, Boudicca, in March next year (entering drydock on March 16).

Black Watch was extensively improved at the end of 2016.

The schedule for Fred Olsen ships includes: upgrade of the existing public areas, cabin enhancements and new facilities (restaurants & gelato bar on ms Balmoral; dining room on ms Boudicca; buffet restaurant on ms Braemar).
