People who board the 62-passenger expedition yacht Crystal Esprit, that sails to the Adriatic and West Indies, will benefit from an extra special amenity: a ride on a high-tech personal submarine.

The sleek submersible can dive up to 300 m (984 feet). It is air-conditioned, boasts a Bluetooth stereo system and can carry 2 guests and a captain.

According to commercial director at Netherlands-based U-Boat Worx, Erik Hasselman, which made the submarine, the cost of a new C-Explorer 3 like this starts at about €2.5 million (US$2.211 million).

The submarine costs an additional US$599 per person.
