Australia’s Largest Cruise Ship Returns to Fremantle

The newest, largest and most modern megaship to sail in Australian waters, Royal Caribbean's Ovation of the Seas returns to Fremantle tomorrow, November 28, to mark her 2nd Australian season.

At 18 decks high, 348 metres long, and weighing 168,666 tons, Ovation is the equal-4th largest cruise ship in the world and the largest to ever sail Australian waters, with 5,000-passenger capacity.

Fremantle is the first Australian port of call of Ovation of the Seas as she makes her way out of Singapore to Sydney for her longest season Down Under.

The arrival of the ship is expected to inject millions into nation's economy. The visit to Fremantle is due to inject more than US$800,000 in passenger spend alone.
