CMV Dedicates a Ship to Mexico

The British-based company CMV-Cruise and Maritime Voyages will deploy mv Magellan ship in winter 2019 to cater to Mexican locals who travel regionally.

According to CMV's CEO Christian Verhounig, the company will become "the only exclusive Mexican cruise product available on the domestic leisure market”.

The 46,052 GT ship will begin operating CMV voyages on February 3, 2019. A total of 8 weeklong cruises will homeport from Manzanillo on Fridays and Acapulco on Sundays. The initial season concludes on March 31, 2019 and will have a capacity of 12,000 passengers.

Outside of the season in Mexico, CMV Magellan’s cruises to/from the UK will be marketed globally.
