AIDAcara returned to hеr homeport of Hamburg on early Saturday morning, February 10, after a 116-day round the world cruise – the first in the German cruise line’s history – having departed October 17, 2017 with approx 1,100 passengers.
Several escort vessels with relatives and friends of the world cruisers set out early in the morning to greet the liner on the Elbe with celebratory fireworks reception, prior to berthing at Steinwerder.
The AIDAcara cruise ship sailed to 40 ports in 23 different countries on 5 continents.
AIDAcara will now start a series of 14- and 15-day cruises to north of Norway.
