Carnival Legend Heads to Alaska Ahead of Dry Dock

Carnival Legend sailed from Sydney on Tuesday, April 3 for her yearly northern hemisphere summer season in Alaska, prior to dry dock refurbishment taking place in May.

Carnival Cruise Line is investing A$65 million in Funship 2.0 upgrades which will offer vacationers a variety of new dining and entertainment venues onboard. The refit will take place in Portland Oregon.

Cruise enthusiasts hoping to be among the very first to sail on the renovated cruise ship can book the 18-day return cruise onboard Carnival Legend from Honolulu to Sydney, departing September 24, 2018.

The 19-day transpacific voyage will sail through French Polynesia, with ports of call including Papeete, Moorea, Bora Bora. The ship will then cross the international dateline prior to sailing back to Sydney.

The Australian summer season of Carnival Legend will start on October 13, 2018.
