Norwegian Cruise Line revealed partnership with technology-solutions leader DeCurtis Corp. for Cruise Freedom - a new technology platform project.

This strategic decision is a major step in making the vision of Norwegian a reality, and leveraging technology which enhances the passenger experience from the moment of booking throughout the Norwegian cruise.

On the heels of the launch of the fully integrated Cruise Norwegian app in December 2017, and the United States debut of Norwegian Bliss on May 4, 2018, the partnership of NCL with DeCurtis is the 2nd stage in its objective to elevate guest experience and push the innovation limits through technology on its modern fleet.

Phased implementation will start later in 2018, with preliminary elements launching onboard Norwegian Bliss in the end of the year, followed by Norwegian Encore in 2019 fall.

The signed agreement between DeCurtis and Norwegian marks the first step in the next phase of the Cruise Freedom platform roll-out, as well as an affirmation of the mission of Norwegian of enabling flexibility and freedom both onboard and ashore.
