MSC Cruises will introduce 5 new bar and lounge concepts aboard MSC World Asia when the ship enters service in December 2026. The new venues will form part of the ship’s total offering of 40 bars, lounges and cafés, with concepts ranging from customizable non-alcoholic drinks to Italian aperitivos and Southeast Asian-inspired cocktails.
Among the new venues is the Clubhouse and Soda Bar, designed around the nostalgia of the 1980s and 1990s. At the Soda Bar, guests will be able to create customized soft drinks by selecting a soda base and adding cream, flavored syrups and toppings.
The adjacent Clubhouse will provide family and group entertainment, including MSC Cruises-themed games and interactive digital tables. Younger guests will have access to a LEGO area, while The Court will feature bumper cars and other activities. During the evening, the venue will transition into a social space offering cocktails and mocktails.
The Sky Box Bar, located within the Luna Park Arena, will provide a more sophisticated setting focused on premium drinks and specialty cocktails. Its design draws on the early 20th-century Futurist movement, while the cocktail menu will combine reinterpreted classics with mixology demonstrations.
The Terraces Bar & Lounge will feature panoramic sea views and an Italian aperitivo concept. The menu will include classics such as Negroni and Aperol Spritz, alongside a selection of spritzes, wines and Prosecco. Traditional accompaniments including focaccia and olives will also be served. Live music will form part of the venue’s offering, while expert-led wine tastings will be available for an additional fee.
At the Coral Cove Pool, the Coral Cove Bar will take inspiration from Philippine coral reefs and serve a selection of classic poolside drinks.
The Pan Asian Bar will overlook the Promenade and form part of the Pan Asian Street Food restaurant, one of three venues within MSC World Asia’s Southeast Asian street-food concept. Its drinks menu will include jasmine mojitos, rose and strawberry daiquiris, and matcha coladas, together with beers from across Asia. The venue will also serve Oceanic Asian, a specially developed draft beer produced at sea.
MSC World Asia will also retain several established MSC Cruises bar and lounge concepts, including the Coffee Emporium, Fizz – Champagne Bar, All-Stars Sports Bar and Masters of the Sea, which serves beer brewed onboard.
MSC World Asia is scheduled to enter service on December 4th, 2026, with a 7-night Mediterranean cruise. The ship will introduce 13 new experiences and redesigned spaces compared with MSC Cruises’ first World Class vessel, MSC World Europa.
