A 3-metre high pyramid of colourful pastry cakes was created by French Pastry Chef Christophe Adam. Winner of 7 Michelin stars Chef Bruno Barbieri, who is a partner of Costa for many years, directed a show-cooking event involving several members of CostaClub in preparing dishes. He also presented a new menu created exclusively for Costa Cruises ships.

Gloria Gaynor was the star of the cruise. She performed in concert in the theatre of the ship, singing all her most successful hits, including “Never Can Say Goodbye” and “I Will Survive”.

Costa Cruises' birthday party was also attended by President of Costa Cruises, Neil Palomba, and culminated with the cutting of a celebratory cake.

The next CostaClub voyage departs on April 20, 2019 aboard Costa Mediterranea, sailing from Amsterdam on a 16-day itinerary dedicated to Ireland and Great Britain.
