Costa Cruises presented a new project named "Masters of Taste", dedicated to its youngest guests, created via collaboration with Barilla, the University of Parma and Madegus.

The purpose of the project is raising awareness among kids on the value of food and proper nutrition through a new onboard menu related to funny educational game.

Costa's gastronomic offer for kids has been entirely modified, in accordance with the principles of Mediterranean diet and food variety. Fruits, vegetables and pasta are the leading items of the new dishes. This way, parents on vacation aboard line's ships will be able to include, in the diet of their children, foods which stimulate the growth of mind and body, so that they don't miss healthy habits, even on cruise vacation.

Children will benefit from 7 menu options, each identified by a very special name: White Planet, Red Planet, Yellow Planet, Green Planet, Purple Planet, Rainbow and Hidden Treasure.

Whenever the small passengers choose one of the 7 menu options in the Main Restaurant or during lunch with the Squok Club's leaders, they will receive a package with ten playing cards, illustrated by the popular Italian cartoonist Fogliazza, with original characters representing the five colors of fruits and vegetables.

The total of 85 cards can be collected and exchanged with each other. Kids can continue the game after they get back home.
