AIDAnova, the first LNG-fueled cruise ship in the world, made her debut on Tuesday, August 21, in a float out ceremony at Meyer Werft Papenburg. The cruise ship will now be positioned at a shipyard's dock for final hotel outfitting ahead of its delivery this autumn.

This is the first of three AIDA Helios-class liners. The second ship (still unnamed) will be launched in 2021 spring, while the 3rd (TBN) will be delivered in 2023. AIDA's Helios-class was preceded by the Hyperion-Class (AIDAprima and AIDAperla). AIDAnova is the company's 8th vessel built in Papenburg.
