Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection Introduces Caribbean Shore Trips

The upcoming luxury cruise brand Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection released details on its Shore Collection for its 2020 itineraries in the Caribbean, offering a first look at the shore excursions of the brand.

The trips are divided into 5 categories: Active Explorations, Cultural Connections, Epicurean Experiences, Iconic Sights, and Stirring the Senses. The brand also announced a selection of overland programs.

Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection

  • Ritz-Carlton's Shore Collection tours are in intimate group sizes, and most of them can be personalized. A Concierge Ashore is available to create custom-made experiences for passengers.
  • Highlights of the company's Caribbean Shore Collection include a tour of Aruba Aloe (one of the first companies in the world to formulate and manufacture skin & hair products with the plant) in Oranjestad Aruba, paired with aloe-based treatment at Ritz-Carlton Spa, Aruba.
  • In Colombia, the brand offers Bogota overland itinerary. The overnight trip allows passengers to experience the colonial district of the city, including the presidential mansions, museums dedicated to gold and Botero, and an evening outing to Monserrate, hilltop church offering views over the city. A number of dining experiences are also offered, like a cooking class with local chef following a trip to Plaza de Paloquemao fruit & flower market.
  • An Active Explorations itinerary in Belize includes a chartered aircraft take off out of Belize City, offering flightseeing over Lighthouse Reef, Mountain Pine Ridge Forest Reserve and Great Blue Hole. The airplane will then land in the jungle at an exclusive resort for wine & food pairing 4-course lunch.

Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is due to debut February 2020 via the first of 3 yachts able to accommodate up to 298 guests in 149 suites, each with a private terrace. The yacht will boast a couple of 1,700ft2 Owner’s Suites, that will have their own private hot tubs.
