MSC Cruises announced that sales for the maiden voyage of MSC Grandiosa departing November 10, 2019 from Hamburg to Mediterranean (repositioning cruise) are already open exclusively for MSC Voyagers Club members who have exclusive access to for a 2-week period through October 21 (and receive a special 5% discount in addition to the 5% loyalty discount as well as benefit from being able to have the first choice of cabins).
Grandiosa is currently under construction at Chantiers de l’Atlantique (former STX France) in Saint-Nazaire. She is the first of two highly-innovative Meraviglia-Plus class cruise ships to come into service November 2019.
The inaugural season of MSC Grandiosa in the Western Mediterannean begins with itineraries from Genoa on November 23, 2019 and 7-night itineraries visiting 6 historic destinations: Genoa, Civitavecchia-Rome, Palermo, Barcelona, Marseille and Valletta.
Passengers can choose from 10- or 13-night cruise, embarking in Hamburg, disembarking in Genoa or Marseille. MSC Grandiosa will also visit Southampton, Lisbon and Barcelona.
An overnight in each of the ports will allow travelers to fully explore the destinations and will also provide an opportunity for MSC to invite local travel agents and partners onboard to explore the new MSC Cruises liner.
MSC Grandiosa is due to become the newest flagship of the company, as well as the largest and richest in features yet to be constructed by MSC Cruises. The newest flagship will be officially named in Hamburg on November 9, 2019.
From October 22, 2018 sales for MSC Grandiosa maiden voyage open to all guests.
