Pacific Eden Completes Final P&O Cruise

The transformation of P&O Cruises fleet is gathering pace with the excitement of the Pacific Adventure ship (current Golden Princess) on the horizon as Pacific Eden and Pacific Jewel are farewelled following their brand-building contribution.

Pacific Eden completed her final P&O cruise in Singapore on April 4 and follows Pacific Jewel’s farewell. Together the two carried over 1 million guests on 646 voyages - 830,000 for Jewel over her more than 9 years with the fleet and 290,000 during Eden’s more than 3 years with P&O Cruises.

The ships' combined economic impact is at an estimated US$600 million: US$444 million for Pacific Jewel and US$156 million for Pacific Eden.

During their time with the cruise line, Jewel and Eden accounted for large quantities of locally supplied produce of which over 6.2 million kg of vegetables and 2.4 million kg of fruit.
