Disney Cruise Line Announces New Halloween and Christmas Routes for 2020

Walt Disney Cruises revealed its new routes for 2020 including tropical Halloween celebrations and Christmases. Mickey Mouse and co will all be on board for a host of themed cruises.

New routes will bring Mickey and friends to join guests for a host of experiences. Halloween and Christmas celebrations are the focal points for Disney’s 2020 schedules. All itineraries promise an “extra-special Disney holiday sparkle.” Halloween on the High Seas is back to Disney Cruise Line in September-October 2020 with spooky activities for the entire family.

  • On select voyages fleetwide, passengers are treated to a mouse-querade costume party, ghoulish beverage and food delights, seasonal kids’ activities, trick-or-treating, a villainous party just for adults as well as a ghostly ship takeover with a magical pumpkin tree and elaborate decor. 
  • Then, the Christmas spirit is welcomed on board in a go-to holiday. Starting early November, Disney Cruise Line's fleet will be decked with holiday parties, festive activities, special beverage and food surprises, as well as a tree lighting ceremony. Meanwhile Daisy Duck and Donald Duck may well make for a Mrs and Mr Claus double act as all favourite characters of Disney will sport their best Christmas holiday attire. This is in addition to a Winter wonderland ball with Mrs Claus and Santa, and a flurry of Frozen snowfall.

Sailings will depart from California, Florida, New York, and Texas. Vacationers have the option of choosing from various locations, such as the Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada, and Mexico. Those heading to the Caribbean will visit Disney’s private island, Castaway Cay.
