Scenic Cruises released footage of the final tests and trials of Airbus H130 helicopters. The following video shows the helicopters landing on the deck of the line's Scenic Eclipse and being stored in the onboard hangars.
As one of the quietest helicopters, the H130 sets the standard for tourism operations and will give guests the chance "to explore beyond the horizon."
Scenic Cruises took delivery of Scenic Eclipse on July 26. Her maiden voyage is a 12-night discovery sailing via Greenland and Eastern Canada prior to arriving in Quebec on August 27, 2019.
Along with two 6-guest helicopters, Eclipse will also boast one 6-guest submarine capable of depths of nearly 1,000 ft to allow for explorations beyond any done on expedition vessels to date.
