An estimated 200 passengers were stuck in Port NOLA (New Orleans) after the cruise liner Norwegian Breakaway was forced to divert to Louisiana Tuesday morning, September 3, due to Hurricane Dorian.

The voyage was originally scheduled to sail back to Miami FL on Sunday, but because of the storm, the vessel altered its course and diverted to NOLA, where passengers claimed they had been left without food, water, or transportation.

NCL-Norwegian Cruise Line was reportedly helping cruise passengers return to Florida. However, some claimed that those living in the Miami Metro area had not been assisted in getting home.

Norwegian Sun was also diverted to NOLA because of the storm.
