MSC Cruises revealed it will bring the liner MSC Magnifica to Southampton UK in 2021 for an entire homeporting season after ship's extensive drydock refit and renovation.
The cruise company will add a new 23-m long prefabricated midship section to the vessel. The reconstruction will create an additional 7000 m2 (75,350 ft2) of onboard space, with a total of 215 more staterooms, a new water park, two new restaurants, a completely redesigned kids area.
MSC Magnifica's UK season includes 24 roundtrip itineraries and starts in May 2021. The voyages vary from 2 to 14 nights to destinations like Canary Islands and Madeira, Mediterranean, Baltic Sea, Northern Europe.
Southampton roundtrips go on sale September 12, 2019, with prices starting from just GBP 149 per person (mini-cruise) and GBP 549 (Norwegian Fjord cruise).
