Carnival Cruise Line Returns to Grand Bahama

A Carnival ship is scheduled to return to Grand Bahama Island for the first time since the Hurricane Dorian disaster. In Freeport will dock Carnival Pride, which left homeport Baltimore on Sunday, October 6, and is due to arrive in The Bahamas on Friday, October 11.

Carnival Pride will be followed by Carnival Elation on Sunday, October 13, and Carnival Freedom on Tuesday, October 15.

A total of 39 Carnival cruise liners will visit Freeport between now and the end of 2019, carrying 100,000+ tourists. This will play a crucial role in the recovery of the area as passengers pump money into the economy of the island.

Over the course of 2019, more than 400,000 passengers will visit Grand Bahama while sailing on a Carnival cruise ship. The company has ten different ships cruising from 9 U.S. ports to the destination.
