Quantum of the Seas to Undergo Multi-Million Dollar Renovation

Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Seas is scheduled to undergo a multi-million dollar month-long refurbishment later in October in preparation for her Southeast Asian season from homeport Singapore from November.

The vessel will enter drydock upon her arrival in the port of Singapore to give Quantum OTS a new look and new features like the laser tag game and escape room.

Quantum will first offer 34 Southeast Asian voyages over 6 months from November 2019 through April 2020. The cruise ship will then sail back for a longer season in October 2020, with 40 sailings over 7 months till April 2021, which is the cruise company’s longest ever deployment in the region for a Quantum ship.

Quantum of the Seas' itineraries include 4-night voyages to Port Klang (Kuala Lumpur) and Penang or Phuket, 5-night sailings to Port Klang (Kuala Lumpur), Penang and Phuket and a 7-night trip to Bangkok (Laem Chabang) and Ho Chi Minh City. This will also be the cruise ship’s first time in the region for Christmas, New Year and Chinese New Year cruises.
