P&O Cruises Reveals New Offering for Food Lovers

P&O Cruises revealed new cruise ship offerings for food aficionados in 2020. The UK company (subsidiary of Carnival Corporation) announced the travel dates for its Food Heroes 2020 program.

Passengers will be able to join award-winning wine expert Olly Smith, Marco Pierre White, and master patissier Eric Lanlard. The star-studded meetings are offered on selected 2020 voyages including MS Iona (May 2020).

The first part of the ship’s maiden season throughout spring-summer 2020 will see Iona sailing the Norwegian fjords from Southampton UK.

Guests will be able to sample Marco’s Gala menus in any of the 4 main restaurants onboard. They can also try Eric’s hand-crafted pastries in Vistas Cafe Bar as well as take part in Olly’s food & drink experiences.

Now offered on Iona, vacationers can attend Eric’s hosted Afternoon Tea which is offered in The Epicurean with treats like pistachio petit choux and bee pollen scones.

On Azura and Britannia, Olly will be hosting 1-to-1 wine surgery at The Glass House, where guests will have the chance to answer all their wine questions. On Britannia, they can attend Marco’s masterclasses in the Cookery Club as well as learn to cook a number of his popular dishes and attend hosted dinners.
