VIDEO: Virgin Voyages Brings Second Cruise Ship to Sydney

Sir Richard Branson revealed that his cruise company intends to bring its second ship (Valiant Lady) to Sydney NSW. He had spoken to Philip Holiday (NSW Port Authority's Chief Operating Officer and Harbour Master) and had been shown potential berthing locations.

Branson added that Virgin will have a fleet of 5 newbuilds, plans to get lots of Australians interested in the new luxury cruise brand and In the next few years will bring ship number two (2021-built) to Sydney NSW. 

Branson was in Sydney on Tuesday, November 12, in order to launch a new partnership between Virgin Australia and Virgin Voyages to encourage Australians to book affordable Caribbean fly-cruise deals on Scarlet Lady (2020-built).

Virgin Voyages’ packages pair the cruise ship with flights via Virgin Australia. Scarlet Lady is scheduled to sail for the first time in April 2020.
