The summer cruising season in Port Nelson NZ is underway, with the arrival of Seabourn Encore. The 605-passenger top-luxury ship stopped on Thursday, January 2, before heading to North Island.
The 210-m long megayacht has been sailing around New Zealand after departing Sydney NSW Australia on December 21. She arrived in Fiordland on December 28 and headed up the east coast of South Island. Seabourn Encore is scheduled to arrive in Auckland NZ January 6. She is the first of 7 ships to call in Nelson this summer.
On January 26, 2020, both ms Maasdam and Seven Seas Voyager will be in the port of Nelson on the same day, bringing 2000+ vacationers into the region.
