A new cruise company - the luxury travel brand Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection - pushed back its debut to next year. Citing delays at the shipbuilding yard (Hijos Barreras, Vigo Spain), the luxury cruise brand from Ritz-Carlton rescheduled the inaugural cruise for its first ship, the Ritz-Carlton Evrima, for April 22, 2021, cruising from Lisbon Portugal to Palma de Mallorca Spain.

Passengers affected by the shift in timing will be invited to reschedule their cruise. Ritz-Carlton is extending cruise savings (with rebooking) or provides full reimbursement for the fares paid to date.

Passengers holding independent air and hotel arrangements may be reimbursed for change/cancellation fees assessed. The commissions of travel advisors will be protected "in an amount equal to the commission that would have been earned on the cruise-only fare had the cruise not been cancelled."

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection is currently reaching out to passengers who have been booked on sailings between June 14, 2020-April 21, 2021.
