St Petersburg Russia’s Sredne-Nevsky Shipyard to build 2 new-class riverboats

Russia's Sredne-Nevsky Shipyard concluded an agreement with State Transport Leasing Company for the building of two "Project A45-90.2" passenger ships for Krasnoyarsk Kray, a spokesperson for the Saint Petersburg-based shipbuilding company announced.

The max passenger capacity of the newbuilds is 245. The vessels are designed to be deployed on routes (sea and river) up to 5000 km in length.

The vessels will have a restaurant, bar lounge, fitness centre, spa-wellness (two saunas), luggage room, business office, 3 cabin decks (first, second and third-class staterooms, including for disabled people). When delivered, the new riverboats will be deployed carrying guests on the Krasnoyarsk-Dudinka route on the Yenisei River in Siberia.

The shipbuilding order is worth RUB 5,27 billion (~USD 67 million / ~EUR 61,7 M). The first boat is planned for delivery in 2023, the second - in 2024.
