Seabourn opened bookings for the revised inaugural expedition season itineraries of Seabourn Venture, the company’s first ultra-luxury purpose-built expedition vessel.
Between December 2021-April 2022, Seabourn Venture is scheduled to sail on a series of 10- to 14-day Norwegian Winter cruises, sailing the coastlines in Norway with ample opportunities for travellers to discover the country’s winter landscape and snow-draped scenery, learn about each region’s Viking history and culture, and search for the Northern Lights.
The Norwegian Winter cruises will offer a new selection of both optional and inclusive expedition outdoor activities like ice fishing, skiing, snowshoeing, dog and reindeer sledding. Dedicated trips in search of Northern Lights will be offered, including overnight camps at viewing locations.
There will also be a new Seabourn signature event, on a complimentary basis, on all sailings, for all passengers: "Concert in the Northern Lights Cathedral & Seabourn Signature Evening Event" at Alta, Norway.
Seabourn's Venture will also carry 24 Zodiacs, a pair of 6-seat custom submarines, and expedition kayaks, providing additional opportunities for passengers to explore Norway’s winter landscape and diverse wildlife.
