RCI-Royal Caribbean International is preparing for its Alaska 2022 season with new itineraries that tout 4 call ports and others showcasing twice the glaciers.

With various destinations and 4 ships to choose from, including 2 of the most innovative in the region (Ovation of the Seas, Quantum of the Seas, Radiance of the Seas, Serenade of the Seas) vacationers can experience the breadth of Alaska's nature and culture.

The beauty of America’s last frontier comes to life in Seward’s wild natural beauty, the culturally rich port towns of Sitka and Haines, and the majestic vistas of Hubbard Glacier and the Inside Passage.

Informed by passenger feedback, local partners, and travel advisors, the vacation offering is part of a longer summer program, featuring 7-night cruises departing from Seattle WA, Seward AK, and Vancouver BC

Ovation OTS is to be joined by sistership Quantum OTS to offer 7-night roundtrip itineraries from Seattle. Both Quantum Class cruise ships bring guests to more scenic ports along the Northwest coastline, such as Victoria BC, Juneau, Ketchikan, Sitka, and Skagway

Two Radiance Class ships are scheduled to return to the region to round out the summer cruise season. Radiance OTS and Serenade OTS are expected to further expand the company’s reach with 7-night itineraries featuring calls at Haines, Ketchikan, Juneau, Seward, and Sitka.

Sailing alternating itineraries between Vancouver and Seward, Radiance of the Seas offers a second northbound itinerary including a visit to Icy Strait Point, celebrated for its native Tlingit hospitality, active wildlife, and diverse landscape. Southbound sailings introduce an evening visit to Haines, among the most scenic towns of the Inside Passage and home to a thriving arts community. Passengers can also take advantage of a day spent in Skagway,  the adventure capital of the state that is located along the longest and deepest fjord of the continent.

Serenade Of The Seas cruise ship

Sistership Serenade of the Seas, departing roundtrip from Vancouver BC, similarly offers a full-day visit to Haines popular for spotting the North American brown bear and whitewater rafting. Vacationers can also enjoy twice the ice via an itinerary featuring both Endicott Arm and Dawes Glacier, as well as Hubbard Glacier, the largest North American tidewater glacier.

Passengers onboard Serenade of the Seas can extend the stay with Royal Caribbean’s CruiseTours, a series of 2- to 6-night pre-бpost-cruise land tours led by local experts.
