MSC Cruises announced it is homeporting its newest ship - MSC Virtuosa, in the UK for summer 2021, scheduled to start on May 20.

The ship will sail a series of 3- and 4-night roundtrips before the 7-day program starting on June 12. Embarkation ports are in both England and Scotland.

Guests getting away for a quick escape for a 4-night voyage will call at the Isle of Portland (England's Jurassic Coast), where they'll be able to enjoy a day ashore. The itinerary also includes 2 days at sea so passengers can enjoy the amenities, activities, and entertainment aboard MSC Virtuosa. The 7-night voyages include stops in Portland and Belfast Ireland with multiple embarkation ports, including Liverpool and Greenock-Glasgow Scotland.

All sailings will be for British residents only and for passengers of all ages who have either already been COVID vaccinated or are waiting for a vaccine. All passengers will be tested prior to embarking on the cruise ship, and non-vaccinated passengers will also be required to show proof of a negative test conducted up to 72 hours before embarkation.

Other pre-boarding/onboard measures will also apply to both passengers and crew members, in line with MSC Cruises’ health and safety protocol.
