RCI-Royal Caribbean announced a new season of Australian domestic sailings onboard the Ovation of the Seas ship.

Ovation OTS is homeported in Sydney NSW between December 13, 2021, and March 31, 2022, offering a mix of 2- to 10-night itineraries visiting some of the country's most famous cities and regions.

Due to the uncertainty surrounding the opening of borders and to ensure passengers have peace of mind surrounding their plans, RCI cancelled the following voyages:

  • Serenade of the Seas’ program from Sydney from October 24, 2021, to February 27, 2022, inclusive. Serenade OTS will be instead homeported in Tampa Florida for 4-5-day roundtrips to Bahamas and Western Caribbean.
  • Ovation of the Seas’ previous program from Sydney (October 27, 2021, thru April 10, 2022, inclusive). For the ship is now scheduled a new domestic-only itinerary program.

All impacted passengers and travel partners were contacted and advised of the options. Customers are automatically issued an FCC (Future Cruise Credit) to the value of 125% of their fare to use on future RCI sailings. However, they are able to opt for a full refund (100% cash) or Lift & Shift to applicable summer 2022-2023 offers.
