Cunard Line partners with Orange County’s Pacific Symphony

The UK-based company Cunard Line and Pacific Symphony (symphony orchestra in Orange County, California USA) announced a new partnership, with Cunard’s exclusive sponsorship of the premier Box Circle Club.

As the official cruise company of Pacific Symphony, Cunard’s support is expected to enhance the organization’s mission to serve and inspire Orange County through music performances, community, and education programming.

Just as the vision of Pacific Symphony is to lead a classical music renaissance via creativity and innovation, Cunard Line’s credo mirrors the core values by providing a stylish and distinctive ocean travel experience boasting White Star Service and providing special event opportunities.

Established in 1978, Pacific Symphony commenced as a collaboration between California State University, Fullerton & North Orange County leaders led by Marcy Mulville.

Pacific Symphony has been led by Music Director Carl St. Clair for 30+ years and has been the resident orchestra at Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall for fifteen years. In its 43rd season now, the Symphony is the largest orchestra formed in the United States in the last 50 years. It is recognized as a Tier 1 orchestra making strides on the national and international scene. Pacific Symphony made its Carnegie Hall debut in April 2018 as one of 2 orchestras invited to perform during a celebration of the 80th Birthday of composer Philip Glass.
