Saint-Etienne-des-Sorts is a Rhone River cruise port and large village in France's Gard department (Occitan region) with population around 1,000.
The town is approx 10 km (6 ml) south of Pont-Saint-Esprit where Ardeche River flows into Rhone. The ruins of Chapelle Saint-Pierre (11th-century chapel) are just 300 m ()990 ft) north-west of the village, built on a steep-sloped hill overlooking the river.
