On July 19, 2015, near Goteborg Sweden, the ship collided with the oil tanker Ternvind. The ferry sustained a major damage (hull hole). It started to take on water, but managed to arrive in Port Goteborg under its own power.
The cargo ship was carrying ~12,000 tons of fuel (petroleum and diesel). No injuries were reported. The tanker ship sustained forepeak damage. It turned back towards Goteborg and anchored in open sea for hull inspection.
