ACL American Patriot cabins review
The ACL American Patriot ship has five passenger decks, of which three have cabins, and all (including the Sun Deck) are interconnected via two midship elevators.
All of the 56 staterooms (43 cabins and 13 suites) feature private step-out balconies. Each veranda is equipped with a table and two chairs (suites also include padded sun loungers) and has glass railings. A floor-to-ceiling sliding door opens onto the veranda.
There are five cabin categories. The ship has no handicapped cabins (wheelchair-accessible ADA staterooms designed for passengers with disabilities) or interconnecting cabins.
Except for the four Single cabins, which have French beds (140x200 cm), all staterooms feature king-size double beds (convertible to twins), large bathrooms (most with single vanities, suites with double vanities), wardrobes, ample drawer storage, and under-bed storage (for suitcases), a 54-inch TV, an electronic safe box (in the closet), and indoor seating (an armchair and writing desk with a chair). Wi-Fi is available shipwide and is complimentary.
The ship's four Single cabins are located on Deck 3 (2x) and Deck 2 (2x).
The smallest staterooms (category Single) are 280 ft² (26 m²), including the veranda.
Standard balcony cabins (categories AAM/Deck 2 and Vista/Deck 3) are 310 ft² (29 m²), including the veranda.
The largest accommodations are on Deck 4: Sky Suites (470 ft² / 44 m²) and Grand Suites (620 ft² / 58 m²), with sizes including their terraces. The four Grand Suites and nine Sky Suites are two-room accommodations with separate living rooms and bedrooms (both with direct balcony access, 2x TVs), dining areas, marble bathrooms (with double-sink vanities), and larger balconies (7 m / 35 ft in length) with sun loungers.
Grand Suite Private Balcony
The Grand Suites feature floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors/triple-glass panels (in both the living room and the bedroom). The living room has a full-size couch, a 60-inch TV, a double wardrobe, and ample cabinet space. The dining area has ample counter space (with daily-replenished treats and a fully-stocked refrigerator). The bedroom also includes a 60-inch TV. The bathroom has a double vanity and a large glass shower.
The Sky Suites feature two 54-inch TVs.
All Suites are provided with plush robes.
