AIDAluna cabins review
AIDAluna decks with passenger cabins include a total of 18 Suites (in 4 categories), 480 Balcony staterooms (in 6 categories), 186 Outside/Oceanview rooms (in 5 categories), and 359 Interior cabins (in 3 categories), totaling 18 stateroom categories overall.
All Suite categories offer the following amenities: private sundeck area, bathroom with bathrobes, slippers, and luxury bath products, twin beds (convertible to queen), double sofabed, pillow menu (with five options), welcome package (fresh fruit, fine chocolates, champagne), 3-course Welcome Dinner (at Rossini), in-room breakfast (upon request, from the à la carte menus of Rossini or the steakhouse), complimentary access to the wellness facilities (on disembarkation day), express services (laundry, luggage, shoeshine), turndown concierge room service, iPod docking station, and Nintendo Wii gaming console.
Balcony, Oceanview, and Interior staterooms feature twin beds (convertible to queen), except category IC-Inside, which has two separate berths.
All staterooms are equipped with a wardrobe, mirrored vanity table with chair, low table with armchairs (excluding the smallest cabins), private bathroom (with WC, shower stall, single-sink vanity, hairdryer, and bath products), electronic safe, lifejackets (in the closet), direct-dial phone (with baby monitoring option), smart HDTV, and individually controlled air conditioning.
Handicap / wheelchair-accessible cruise cabins
On the AIDAluna ship, there are 11 wheelchair-accessible cabins for disabled passengers, located on Deck 4 across 8 stateroom categories. The cabin numbers by category are as follows:
- Oceanview (with porthole views): AA (4134, 4234, size 22 m²) and AB (4122, 4222, size 28 m²). These feature either 2 or 3 beds (twin beds and a single sofabed).
- Inside: IC-4361 (23 m²), IC-4362 (20 m²), IC-4462 (21 m²), IC-4363 (19 m²), IC-4463 (19 m²), and IC-4353, IC-4453 (each 19 m²), with 2 separate twin beds.
All accessible cabins include wider doorways, turning space for wheelchairs, open-frame beds, lowered vanities in the sitting area, amplified emergency phones, captioned TVs, and accessible bathrooms (with roll-in shower, fold-down shower bench, grab bars, lowered sinks and closet rods, raised toilets, and hand-held showerhead).
These staterooms are also conveniently located near the ship’s elevators.
