Each Single Cabin has 2 twin beds (convertible to double / Queen-size), bedside cabinets, wall-mounted reading lamps, flat TV, mirrored vanity / dressing table with chest of drawers and chair, sofa, en-suite bathroom (single-sink vanity, WC / shower). These staterooms are designed for solo travelers and can be booked with single-occupancy rates (no single supplement is required).
Marella Discovery cabins review
Of the 918 Marella Discovery cabins, 356 feature private balconies and 328 can accommodate a 3rd/4th guest. There are 17 wheelchair-accessible staterooms. The ship offers 24 cabin categories, including the "Guaranteed" categories W-Suite, X-Balcony, Y-Oceanview, and Z-Inside.
Below is the review of Marella Discovery staterooms in terms of amenities, furniture, and services:
All Marella Discovery cabins are equipped with 2 twin beds (convertible to a queen), a walk-in closet with ample drawer space, private bathroom (WC, sink, shower, hairdryer, bath products), sitting/lounge area (desk, chair, sofa bed), smart HDTV, individually controlled air-conditioning, direct-dial phone, safe, radio, minibar, and Internet access.
Some staterooms feature either a convertible sofabed or Pullman beds (upper bunks) to accommodate a 3rd/4th guest. Twin beds measure 36 x 82 inches (90 x 210 cm).
All Suites include king beds, spacious bathrooms (whirlpool bathtub, separate shower, WC), vanity area (desk, chair), living area (double sofa bed, dining area, pantry, wet bar, kitchen), and private balconies.
The Royal Suite offers two separate bedrooms (master and guest), an extended balcony with a whirlpool and deluxe lounge furniture, a media center (surround sound, large flat-screen TV, stereo, CD/DVD player), and a baby grand piano.
Executive Suites feature queen beds, a large bathroom (with separate bathtub and shower), living room (double sofa bed, dining area, media center, bar, fridge).
