Marella Explorer cabins review
The cruise ship Marella Explorer offers a total of 962 staterooms spread across 10 cabin decks. All accommodations feature standard amenities, including individually controlled air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms (WC/shower, hairdryer, bathrobes), mini-bar, Nespresso coffee maker (2 capsules per day), electronic safe (in the closet), direct-dial telephone, flat-screen TV, and 24-hour room service.
Most cabins can accommodate an extra bed for toddlers (2x4 ft / 60x120 cm). All Suites and Family cabins are additionally equipped with Xbox 360 gaming consoles.
Bonus services (included in the Marella cruise fare for all Suite categories) include free Internet access, a complimentary mini-bar (replenished daily with drinks), Xbox console, concierge service (packing/unpacking, daily newspaper, dining reservations at specialty restaurants, spa bookings, private shore excursions, and exclusive events), priority services (check-in, embarkation, disembarkation, and tender boarding), in-room dining (hot/cold snacks and fresh fruit between 7 am–7 pm), plus exclusive Suite guest access to the X-Lounge (offering Champagne and premium spirits) and a private sundeck.

Balcony Junior Suites offer two lower beds and one sofa bed. Connecting suites are available. Balconies are furnished with one table, two chairs, and one deck chair.
Family Balcony Cabins include a private balcony with one hammock, one table, two chairs, and two deck chairs. Furnishings consist of one double bed (4.6x6.6 ft / 140x200 cm), one double sofabed, and one Pullman bed.
(Premium) Large Balcony Cabins feature step-out balconies furnished with one hammock, one table, two chairs, and one lounger. Furniture includes two twin beds (convertible to a queen) and one sofa bed. Connecting cabins are also available.
