Seven Seas Mariner cabins review

Seven Seas Mariner has 354 cabins. Like all Regent cruise ships, Mariner is an all-suite vessel. The ship offers 14 cabin categories. All accommodations feature private balconies. There are 6 handicap (wheelchair-accessible) suites for disabled passengers (located on decks 8, 9, and 10). The ship has no connecting rooms (suites convertible into a double suite).

Below is a review of Regent Seven Seas Mariner staterooms (suite accommodations), including furniture, amenities, and included (complimentary) services:

All staterooms feature a King-size “Elite Slumber Bed,” interactive smart HDTVs, direct-dial satellite phones, fully stocked mini-fridge, Regent Cruises-logoed luxury bathrobes and slippers, luxury bath products (“L’Occitane”), welcome gifts (champagne and flowers), and 24-hour room service.

Guests in all suite categories Penthouse and above enjoy the following perks (bonus amenities): 24-hour personal butler service, en-suite dining (Afternoon Tea and course-by-course dinner), premium bath amenities by Guerlain (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion, vegetable soaps), a large living room (bar, media center, custom-made luxury furniture), free Internet and WiFi, iPad, iPhone station, binoculars, cashmere blankets, priority services (dining and shore excursion reservations), and a complimentary mini-bar (beverages replenished daily).

Higher suite categories also include complimentary services (cocktail parties, laundry and pressing), as well as discounts (10% off onboard alcohol purchases, 5% off Regent shore excursions, 5% off pre- and post-cruise hotel deals), plus free airport transfers and a complimentary car ashore.

Regent Cruises suite categories Master, Grand, Seven Seas, and Mariner Suites include an illy Nespresso Forte capsule coffee maker. Additionally, passengers in Regent, Master, Grand, and Explorer Suites receive a bottle of Guerlain’s luxury perfume Eau de Cologne Imperiale (a citrus aromatic fragrance for women).

Master Suites have two bedrooms (each with an adjacent bathroom with shower and bathtub). Grand and Mariner Suites also feature two full bathrooms.

Regent Mariner’s Seven Seas Suites have separate living and dining rooms, as well as a marble bathroom.

Deluxe Suites feature a king-size Slumber Bed, vanity table, hairdryer, Regent-logoed bathrobes and slippers, and L’Occitane luxury bath amenities.

Concierge Suites additionally include complimentary Wi-Fi, a 1-Night Luxury Hotel Package (including hotel-ship transfer, breakfast, and porterage), a champagne bottle on arrival, 15 minutes of ship-to-shore phone time, priority reservations (shore excursions and “Prime 7” and “Signatures”), and discounts (10% on onboard wine and liquor purchases, 5% on Regent shore excursions, 5% on pre- and post-cruise hotels and land programs).

All Regent Mariner cruises are priced inclusive of unlimited Internet for all passengers (regardless of cabin category). The top-luxury RSSC fares also include all beverages (alcohol included), all gratuities, and round-trip flights. Up to 3-night shore excursions/tours are offered on exotic itineraries to South Africa and Asia.
