Viking Nerthus cabins and suites

Of all Viking Nerthus cabins, approximately two-thirds feature balconies. All Suite accommodations have two separate rooms—a living room (with a step-out balcony) and a bedroom (with a French balcony). The Viking Longship design allows the Middle and Upper decks to include a starboard row of balcony cabins, each with a full, open-air step-out veranda. There are 8 cabin categories in total (maximum occupancy of 2 guests per cabin). The ship does not have self-service laundry facilities (laundromats).

All passenger staterooms include standard complimentary amenities such as hotel-style beds (79 x 63 inches / 200 x 160 cm) with ample under-bed storage, optional twin-bed configuration, sliding-door wardrobe (with wooden hangers), dimmable LED lighting, and a private en-suite bathroom (glass-enclosed shower, heated floor, anti-fog mirror, hairdryer, razor-only outlet, Freyja premium bath products, plush bathrobes and slippers upon request). Additional amenities include a phone, mini-fridge, electronic safe (in the closet), 42-inch HDTV (CNN, FOX, CNBC, National Geographic, MGM, Sky Cinema, movies on demand, “View From the Bridge” real-time webcam, ship information channel), individual air-conditioning, 220V/110V power outlets, and USB ports.

Each Veranda Stateroom has a private step-out balcony furnished with a low table and two deckchairs.

French Balcony cabins, Veranda Staterooms, and Suites feature floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors.

Both Standard cabin categories (E and F) are water-level staterooms located on the Main Deck. Instead of a step-out or French balcony, they have small, non-opening windows positioned near the ceiling.

Price-inclusive amenities for Viking river cruise cabins include daily replenished bottled water, a bowl of fresh fruit, complimentary Wi-Fi (shipwide), and personal cabin steward service with twice-daily housekeeping.

Both Explorer Suites (aft on Upper Deck 3) are the ship’s largest accommodations, featuring a wraparound veranda, separate living room and bedroom, walk-in closet, and a larger bathroom with a dual-sink vanity. Veranda Suites (all on Upper Deck 3) also include walk-in closets and separate bedrooms with direct bathroom access. Additional suite-only complimentary perks include:

• (categories ES and AA) early check-in (no later than 12 noon), Viking Air Plus (flight package), laundry and shoeshine services, daily fruit plate, welcome Champagne, fully stocked mini-bar (replenished daily with wines, beers, and soft drinks), and in-cabin binoculars.
