Viking Dagur cabins and suites

Of all Viking Dagur staterooms, approximately 75% feature balconies. All Suites have two separate rooms—a living room (with a step-out balcony) and a bedroom (with a French balcony).

Viking Cruises' longship design allows the Middle and Upper decks to have a starboard row of balcony cabins, each with a full, open-air, step-out veranda.

The total number of cabin categories is 8 (maximum occupancy is 2 passengers per cabin).

The ship has no self-service laundry facilities (laundromats).

All staterooms include the following standard (complimentary) amenities: hotel beds (79 x 63 inches / 200 x 160 cm) with ample under-bed storage (for suitcases), optional twin-bed configuration, sliding-door wardrobe (with wooden hangers), dimmable LED lighting, private en-suite bathroom (glass-enclosed shower, heated floor, anti-fog mirror, hairdryer, razor-only outlet, premium toiletries/L'Occitane bath products, plush bathrobes and slippers upon request), phone, mini-fridge, electronic safe (in the closet), 40-inch HDTV (channels including CNN, FOX, CNBC, National Geographic, MGM, Sky Cinema, plus infotainment system with Internet access, on-demand movies, "View From the Bridge" real-time webcam, and ship information channel), individual air conditioning, 220V/110V outlets, and USB ports.

Each Veranda Stateroom has a private step-out balcony furnished with a low table and two deckchairs.

French Balcony cabins, Veranda Staterooms, and Suites feature floor-to-ceiling sliding doors.

The Standard Cabin categories (E and F) are water-level staterooms located on the Main Deck only. Instead of step-out or French balconies, they have small non-opening windows positioned near the ceiling.

Viking River Cruises' price-inclusive cabin amenities also include daily replenished bottled water, a bowl of fresh fruit, complimentary shipwide Wi-Fi, and a personal cabin steward (twice-daily housekeeping service).

The two Explorer Suites (located aft on Upper Deck 3) are the ship's largest accommodations. They feature a wraparound veranda, separate living room and bedroom, walk-in closet, and a larger bathroom (with dual-sink vanity). Veranda Suites (also on Upper Deck 3) include walk-in closets and separate bedrooms with direct bathroom access.
