Viking Emerald cabins review
All Viking Emerald cabins (Century Emerald) feature private balconies (100% balcony accommodations). There are 9 cabin categories in total (maximum capacity of 2 guests per cabin).
All staterooms are located on Decks 2 through 5, each with a sliding glass door opening onto a private veranda. The ship does not have designated single-occupancy cabins.
Below is a review of Viking Cruises Viking Emerald staterooms, including furnishings, price-inclusive amenities, and complimentary services:
- Hotel-style beds (79 x 71 inches / 200 x 180 cm) are provided in Explorer Suites, while all other cabins feature beds measuring 79 x 35 inches (200 x 90 cm). Configurations can be arranged as either a double bed or twin beds.
- PS Suites include a separate sitting area with a sofa, armchair, and desk.
- All accommodations feature ample under-bed storage space for suitcases, dimmable lighting, and a wardrobe with hangers.
- Private bathrooms include a glass-door shower, “L’Occitane” premium bath products (soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion), bathrobes and slippers (upon request), large mirrors, and spacious shower cubicles with sliding doors. Explorer Suites also feature a bathtub.
- Additional amenities include a direct-dial phone, mini-fridge, personal safe, hairdryer, electric kettle with instant coffee, and complimentary bottled water (replenished daily).
- Individual climate control and 220V / 110V outlets are available in all cabins.
- Each stateroom is equipped with an HD flat-screen TV offering news channels (CNN, CNBC), NG, MGM, Sky Cinema, and local channels.
- Complimentary laundry and tailoring services are provided (no self-service laundromats onboard). Note: The dress code is casual, with no formal nights requiring special attire.
- Concierge service and free Wi-Fi internet (shipwide coverage) are included.
