While this Hurtigruten vessel has no swimming pool, it has 2 oversized outdoor whirlpools.

Outdoor Explorer Deck is an open-air space that has the best vantage points for guests to enjoy the Norwegian Arctic scenery views along the ms Midnatsol itinerary route. The area has plenty of deckchairs around the ship’s funnel and a helipad. There is a sheltered seating area with wooden chairs and tables located aft of the Atrium.

The outdoor Sun Deck is also the place for the Hurtigruten Midnatsol’s special ceremony called “Arctic Circle baptism”, which includes a Neptune-costumed crewmember, ice-cold seawater, and a free shot – for warming up.
