MS Midnatsol (built 2003, last refurbished in 2017) is one of the three advertised as “Millennium-class” newest Hurtigruten ships – together with Finnmarken (Otto Sverdrup) and Trollfjord. These Hurtigruten ships serve the line’s Norwegian Coastal Voyages (NCV) program for ferry and cruise travel by passenger-cargo vessels sailing regularly (year-round) along the coast of Norway and visiting a total of 34 different ports of call. MS Midnatsol itinerary calendar has sailings between Bergen and Kirkenes, also some departures from Tromso.
