MSC Explora 6 (2028-built/currently on order) is the final vessel in the six-ship MSC EXPLORA-class of expedition-style luxury ships. Her fleetmates are Explora 1 (2023), Explora 2 (2024), Explora 3 (2026), Explora 4 (2027), and Explora 5 (2027). The vessels are owned by the MSC Group and operated as a dedicated luxury fleet under MSC Cruises’ premium travel brand MSC EXPLORA JOURNEYS.
The Explora VI deck plan features 463 staterooms accommodating 926 passengers (maximum capacity 1473) and served by 640 officers and crew. The ship has 13 decks (11 accessible to passengers, including 5 with cabins), 18 food and beverage venues, extensive wellness facilities (Spa & Fitness), an Infirmary/Hospital, Aft Marina Deck (for watersports operations), Marina Lounge & Bar, Forward Lounge, Coffee Lounge (patisserie), Gelateria & Creperie Bar, Aft Lounge & Bar, Lower Aft Plunge Pool & Lounge, Upper Aft Pool & Lounge, adults-only Forward Pool & Lounge (with a large swimming pool), Panorama Lounge & Bar, Galley/Kitchen, Lobby Hall (Reception & Tour Desk), Casino, duty-free Boutiques, Art Gallery, and the MSC Foundation center.
The ship offers six restaurants (Mediterranean, International, Concept, Steakhouse, Pan-Asian, and All-Day Dining/Lido Buffet), four swimming pools (three outdoor plus one indoor under a retractable glass roof), multiple whirlpools (indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis/spa pools), a Sports Court, a two-lane Running Track, and numerous open-air relaxation areas including sunbathing decks, lounge spaces with daybeds, and 64 private cabanas available for rent.
Most decks are conveniently served by eight elevators (two forward and two aft per side) along with indoor staircases.
