Pride of Rotterdam ferry deck plans

MS Pride of Rotterdam ferry was launched in 2001 (sister ship Pride of Hull) and is operated by P&O FERRIES. The ship has the following main facilities:

• 546 cabins (total bed capacity 1,376) are located on Green Deck 10 (throughout), Blue Deck 9 (forward), Red Deck 8 (forward), and Deck 7 (aft).
• On Deck 7 (aft) are 53 truck driver staterooms (14 single, 39 twin). Midship and forward are the passenger car deck areas, with two lifts and stairways leading to Deck 8.
• On Red Deck 8 are located the Four Seasons Restaurant (all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant), Casino, Sunset Show Lounge (bar lounge with stage and dance floor), Information Desk (24-hour reception/guest services), Bureau de Change (ATM/cashier services), and two shops.
• On Blue Deck 9 are located the Irish Bar, Video Arcade (electronic gaming machines, portside), two cinemas (tickets available from the Information Desk on Red Deck 8), duty-free shop, Children’s World (kids’ playroom), Continental Cafe (Starbucks Coffee Bar), Langan’s Brasserie (a la carte restaurant), Wine Bar, Quiet Room, Business Lounge (conference center), Freight Drivers Restaurant, Freight Drivers Lounge, and Doctor’s Office.
• On Green Deck 10 are located passenger cabins only.
• Crew Deck 11 is reserved exclusively for officers and crew members (cabins and facilities).
• On Skylounge Deck 12 are located the Sky Lounge (piano bar and multi-functional venue with direct access to the aft sun deck areas), helipad (used in emergency situations), and Navigation Bridge.

Below is a list of car deck-related safety procedures:

• All onboard emergency instructions are displayed in staterooms, on TV screens, and at the ship’s assembly (muster) stations. Life jackets are issued at the assembly stations. In case of emergency, the use of elevators/passenger lifts is prohibited.
• Disabled passengers or those requiring special assistance should contact the ship’s Information Desk (open 24 hours).
• Apply the handbrake and place the vehicle in park or first gear. Switch off the ignition, alarm, electrical equipment, and headlights. Gas cylinders, if any, must be turned off. Lock the vehicle.
• Take only valuables and essential hand luggage from your vehicle.
• Make a note of your vehicle’s location and garage deck number or stairway before leaving the car deck.
• Access to the ship’s vehicle (cargo) decks during the voyage is prohibited.
• Smoking on vehicle decks, as well as in cabins and passenger lounges, is forbidden.
• Wait for an onboard announcement before returning to your vehicle.
• To reduce air pollution, do not start the engine until instructed.
